As the previous day’s article had predicted Hackensack beat Orange High School soundly 28-21 and Hackensack was set to enter the third round of the State tournament against Plainfield and critics thought Hackensack should win that game soundly also.  Take note, the article clearly states in a sub heading in the article “HACKENSACK WILL PLAY PLAINFIELD TONIGHT”.  All is right for the “Team of Destiny” Hackensack to clash with the “Wonder Team” Passaic as both moves closer to the finals.
